Patna(PATNA):An important step has been taken towards making Bihar a manufacturing hub of the IT sector. An MOU has been signed between the Department of Information Technology and NASSCOM in Patna under the IT Policy 2024. The objective of this agreement is to create employment in the IT sector for the youth of Bihar.
NASSCOM will cooperate in the development of IT sector in Bihar through agreement.

This organization includes more than 3 thousand IT companies, which will try to develop Bihar as the preferred center of IT investment and employment generation in India.

Bihar Government Minister Santosh Suman said that various types of support will be provided to IT companies for 5 years. Under the IT policy, the government will bear 50% of the workplace expenses of IT companies. Apart from this, 25% of the electricity usage bill will also be borne by the government. Along with this, an amount of up to Rs 50 thousand will also be given by the government in the PF of the employees working in IT companies. This agreement will open doors to new opportunities in the IT sector for the youth of Bihar and will help in strengthening the economic condition of the state.
