In Loni village Chirauri, the Agriculture Department team raided a factory manufacturing fake DAP (Di Ammonium Phosphate), Potash and pesticide and seized a huge quantity of fertilizers and pesticides. This factory is being run by Rahul Singhal, resident of Muzaffarnagar. The consignment of fake DAP caught in Aligarh and Bulandshahr was sent from here. The team seized the factory and collected samples of fertilizers and pesticides and sent them for testing. Deputy Director of Agriculture Ramjatan Mishra said that as soon as he reached the factory located in Chirauri along with District Agriculture Officer Amit Kumar, Loni Tehsildar Jaiprakash Naib Tehsildar Rati Gupta and Sub-Inspector Veerpal Singh, the workers working there jumped over the wall and ran away.
During inspection, the team recovered 50 bags of 50 kg each of NFL mark Muriate of Potash, 920 bags of Marka without DAP, 130 bags of Shri Ram Crop Care Foundation mark of NPK from the spot. Apart from this, the team has recovered 21 metric tonnes of salt, 25 kg of red soil, 50 kg of white powder and new empty bags of reputed companies which are used in preparing fertilizers. These include 500 bags of NFL mark MOP and one thousand empty bags of IFFCO mark DAP.
A mixer machine and a sack sewing machine as well as a generator were also found from the spot. Let us tell you that during a raid in Khurja of Bulandshahr district a week ago, the Agriculture Department had caught 400 bags of fake DAP and potash. The licensee had said to order the consignment of fake fertilizer from Ghaziabad. Under the direction of the District Magistrate, the team raided and took action against the factory manufacturing fake DAP, potash and pesticide.
Many places of fake fertilizer business:
It is feared that the raw material of fertilizer was procured from Hapur district. Color, salt and other ingredients are added to it and their mixing is done near Chirauri village of Loni. Along with this, there is a warehouse in Muradnagar where this goods is kept and from there it is supplied.
