Minister held review meeting with officials7

Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, Industrial Development Minister, Government of Uttar Pradesh, on Monday conducted a detailed review of the development works of Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPCIDA) at Pickup Bhawan Auditorium, Lucknow. In which the minister told the officials like Chief Minister Yogi etc.

Officials said that integrated manufacturing clusters are to be built in Agra and Prayagraj. For this, 231 acres of BPCL land located in Naini, Prayagraj has been identified, which will be developed and industries will be established there. On which the Minister gave instructions to the officials to set up an EV plant in Naini.

Minister’s warning to regional managers

In the review meeting, the Minister expressed displeasure over the closure of a large number of factories in all the industrial areas of the state and their lands lying vacant. Also warned the regional managers that negligence in this work will not be tolerated at all. Said that a large number of lands are lying vacant in all the industrial areas. Industries are closed; entrepreneurs should be informed about the buy back policy to use such lands and efforts should also be made to get reallocation done.

The minister directed the officials to complete the pending investigations within two months. Said that the problems of entrepreneurs should be resolved immediately. Besides, it should also be monitored. Instructions were also given to immediately resolve the complaints coming on IGRS.
