The work of making firecrackers was being done by him since about 10 days ago. The plan was to sell these firecrackers on the upcoming Vijayadashami and Diwali festivals.

Sahpau Kotwali police has busted an illegally running firecracker factory in Jaripura village of the area. Police have arrested two youths for running the factory.

CO Sadabad Himanshu Mathur said that Brajesh Khanna, a resident of village Jaripura, had bought the material for making firecrackers from outside and was making crackers illegally at home. The work of making firecrackers was being done by him since about 10 days. The plan was to sell these firecrackers on the upcoming Vijayadashami and Diwali festivals.

Police have recovered bags filled with material for making firecrackers from his possession. One of these bags is filled with firecrackers. One bag is filled with ingredients for making firecrackers, half of the bag is filled with cracker kiosks and some bags are filled with ready-made crackers. A total of 132 kg (total 10 pieces) of material has been recovered from the spot. The CO said that legal action is being taken by registering a case against the accused under relevant sections.
