New Delhi, October 13 () The US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has said that pharmaceutical company Glenmark is recalling two of its products in the US due to manufacturing deficiencies.

New Jersey-based Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, a unit of Indian company Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, is recalling 45,504 bottles of Ryaltris (olopatadine hydrochloride and mometasone fluoride) nasal spray.

In its latest enforcement report, the USFDA said the company is recalling the affected lots due to a ‘defective distribution system’.

It said that the dip tube was clogged, due to which the spray was not working.

The drug company is also recalling a generic drug to treat certain fungal skin infections, the US health regulator said.
