Naveen Nischal, New Delhi: Crime Branch of Delhi Police has exposed an illegal arms manufacturing factory running in Meerut. Two people have been arrested in this case. 16 country made pistols, 41 barrels (pistol barrel) and 8 tools and equipment used for making pistols have been recovered from them. The accused were identified as Ikram and Mashuk Ali. Criminal cases are already registered against Mashuk. Crime Branch Special Commissioner Devesh Chandra Srivastava said that the Central Range team received information that a person was going to come with an illegal weapon. Police raided and arrested a person, from whom two country-made pistols and 6 live cartridges were recovered. During interrogation, the accused revealed his name as Ikram. He revealed that he was bringing these illegal weapons from Meerut, where the factory of these weapons is located. The accused also told that the name of the person who is running the illegal arms factory is Mashuk Ali.

Special cell caught factory owner from Meerut

The team formed under the supervision of DCP Rakesh Pawaria raided a flat located in Kashiram Colony in Meerut and busted an illegal arms factory. After this Mashuk Ali was also arrested. He is the owner of the factory. During interrogation, Mashuk Ali revealed that he has made 80 pistols till now. Earlier he used to run a mobile shop. The police is searching for other people involved in the business of manufacturing and supplying weapons.
