Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC) 2 will be developed on 200 acres in Yamuna Authority area of Greater Noida. Havells India has been selected as the anchor company and will also have six other units. Electronics equipment manufacturing units will be established in this cluster. Yamuna Authority has also given in-principle consent for land allotment.
Jagran correspondent, Greater Noida. Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC) II will be developed in Yamuna Authority. Havells India has been selected as its anchor company, along with which there will be six other units in the EMI. Electronics equipment manufacturing units will be set up in it. Yamuna Authority has given in-principle consent for land allotment. After the company’s application is approved in EMC II, the process will be taken forward.
Software park, fintech city, electronics manufacturing cluster, data center are being developed in Yamuna Authority area. Electronics manufacturing cluster will be developed on two hundred acres in Sector 10 of the authority. The leading company Havells India has been selected in this. The company will set up a unit to manufacture electronics equipment in fifty acres. There will be an investment of about Rs 800 crore in this. Apart from this, six more units will be established. Electronics equipment manufacturing units will also be set up in all these units.
In-principle consent given on land allocation
Chief Executive Officer of the Authority, Dr. Arunveer Singh says that in-principle consent has been given on the allotment of two hundred acres of land for EMC 2. Havells India has applied for EMI 2 in the Central Government. After getting the approval, the process of land allotment will be taken forward. Apart from industrial investment, EMC II will also generate employment on a large scale.
Grant will be received from central and state government
There are policies of the Central and State Government for EMI. The units established under this get grants and many concessions from the government. To get these, it is necessary to apply and get approval from the government.

Vivo has been installed in emc one
Vivo and its subsidiaries have been established in Sector 24A of Yamuna Authority area under EMC One. Vivo was allotted 169 acres of land in 2018. The company has started production in this unit in 2024. In the first phase, 6.5 crore mobile phones will be manufactured annually. Upon completion of all phases, the capacity of the unit will be 14.5 crore mobile phones per annum.
