Multibagger Stock, Shares of toy manufacturing company ok play (India) on Tuesday gained 5 per cent to hit the upper circuit. The microcap stock opened in the green at Rs 13.20 apiece versus the previous close of Rs 12.95.
The stock went on to make an intraday high at Rs 13.59, up 5 per cent. Trading in the counter was halted after it touched the upper price band.
Promoter Hikes Stake
Today’s rally in Ok Play shares came after its board approved the allotment of 1 crore equity shares to promoter Anandana Handa. The allotment, part of the tenth tranche, was done on a preferential basis at a price of Rs 6.021 per share, which includes a premium of Rs 5.021 per share, in compliance with SEBI regulations.
Stock Split
The price and number of shares have been adjusted post sub-division of the equity shares. Back in March this year, the firm had split the face value of its equity shares in the ratio of 10:1. It means that each share of Rs 10 face value was split into 10 shares of Re 1 face value.

Ok Play shares are listed on the BSE for trade. According to the shareholding pattern as on June quarter, promoters own 44.82 per cent stake while 19.03 per cent equities rest in hands of FIIs. The remaining stake of more than 36 percent is held by non-institutional investors and mutual funds.
Going by analytics, the counter has climbed 16 per cent in the last one year. In has made investors wealthier by more than 350 per cent in the last two years and 550 per cent in five years.
Incorporated in 1988, Ok Play is engaged in the manufacturing of plastic molded products. It has three primary business segments which include toys, automotive components and e-vehicles.
