New Delhi, October 4 () Solar energy company SolarFix India has signed an agreement with Japan’s Kanemasa to develop 10 GW solar module manufacturing capacity in India by 2030.


Anket Kapoor, chief executive officer (CEO) and co-founder of SolarFix India, said on Friday that this capacity will be installed in different parts and phases in states like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan.

He said Japanese company Kanemasa will be the technology partner in SolarFix India’s plan to install 10 GW of solar capacity by 2030.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at the ‘Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2024’ organized by Informa Markets in India.

More than 800 exhibitors are participating in the three-day event.
